Our traditional mochilas are bucket-style bags with a flat, striped strap, and can be worn cross-body or over-the-shoulder. Many of our traditional mochilas are unisex.
The bags are woven by hand by women artisans from the Wayúu indigenous group in the Guajira region of Colombia, and take between 2 and 3 weeks to weave. The flat straps are typically made by the men in the Wayúu community, on a manual loom.
The main bag measures approximately 12" in height x 10" in diameter (30 x 24cm).
